Tonight, TOWN Magazine hosted their launch party at the courtyard by Marriott. Since we are featured on page 30 they wanted Thee Inner Cirkus to be guest.
Yeah you heard me, we’re in the magazine, page 30. As soon as it releases you can read our short story. They even used a photo taken by the man himself, Kevin Bost. A heartfelt thanks to TOWN Magazine and especially, Mark and Jack. We had a great time at your premier issue party and we’d like you and everyone in Greenville to read why….

Really? You don’t want us to perform? Appear only as guest? Dress up in our cirkus best? Eat, drink and be merry? So we did, we did and we did. SeaJae/Pynqi, FireFly and Pixie looked phenomenal but you already knew that.

Along with my vest, tie and feathered hat, I was also wearing my nervous smile. You know the one. I was amongst a crowd with unfamiliar faces. People are eating while others are shaking hands and exchanging business cards. All the while, some are just staring. I’m a crowd watcher but I don’t stare, I just notice. I noticed the glance of curiosity when we first made our way to a table, center stage of the jazz band. I noticed the bewildered looks as we helped ourselves to the crab cakes, cocktail shrimp and open bar. I appreciated your consideration when you covered your mouth to whisper. I think you were caught off guard. I think we made you wonder. I think we did what we intended.
